*In full agreement with the Texas Medical Board, Natural Health & Sports Massage Center is required to inform the public that naturopathic doctors are not licensed in Texas at this time. This means they are not able to serve as primary care physicians in Texas, however they can still be seen for consultation regarding health and wellness.

  1. Hi Dr. Cantu,

What a great and informative site!!! Just found it and have only been to a few pages so far.

I am writing because, after reading your article, I wanted you to know that I had RA about 12 years ago. It was the traveling kind…and ferociously painful (wanting to die painful). I went to two Rheumatologists who said it could not be cured and I was to go on a medication for the rest of my life (I have since forgotten the name of medication, but it was approx. $400 a month). Always the warrior…..I immediately did a little research and found that taking out processed foods, white flour, sugar, etc and replacing with veggies, nuts, omega 3′s…etc. (as your site also described) would help. It did almost instantly. Days. Rheumatoids still showed in my blood for about 3 years….but not for the last 9. I have since re-introduced some of my guilty pleasures, but in a minor way. However, I waited a full year before doing so. Additionally, I have told dozens of RA sufferers but no one wants to give up their french fries!! Very frustrating when I just KNOW a change in the diet will get rid of RA or greatly reduce the pain.

Unfortunately, we will not see this anywhere in the mass media because the medications companies would have a fit!!

Organic and certain raw foods are a PLUS!!!!

Thank you Dr. Cantu for understanding the need for great nutrition!!!

    Hi Cristina,

Healthline recently finished an infographic that shows that many people suffer symptoms of depression without seeking care, and that undiagnosed depression costs the U.S. millions of dollars each year. You can find the infographic at: http://www.healthline.com/health/depression/statistics-infographic

We encourage you to embed this graphic on your site & share with your followers, friends, & network.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Warm Regards,
    Tracy
